Todos ellos son casos de prácticas urbanas que aparecen, se desplazan y desaparecen, como si se tratara de "post-it", esas pequeñas hojas de papel autoadhesivo que señalan lugares y recuerdan cosas.
Casos como los mencionados recoge la exposición Post-it City. Ciudades ocasionales curada por Martí Peran (España) y que en Latinoamérica es adaptada por los curadores Pablo Brugnoli (Chile), Pedro M. Sales (Brasil) y Paola Salaberri (Argentina). La exposición forma parte del proyecto POST-IT, dirigido por Martí Peran, iniciado en 2005 en el Centre d'Art Santa Mònica de Barcelona.
La primera edición se presentó en el Centro de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona del 12 de marzo al 25 de mayo de 2008 y fue curada por Martí Peran, Giovanni La Varra, Filippo Poli y Federico Zanfi. Después de la exhibición en el MAC de Santiago, la muestra se trasladará a São Paulo y Buenos Aires.
Las ediciones latinoamericanas exhibirán 50 casos de los 78 que se presentaron en España a los que se suman 9 sudamericanos nuevos, entre los que figuran proyectos de Perú, Chile, Argentina y Brasil.
Hasta el momento han participado del proyecto alrededor de veinte ciudades. Los interlocutores en cada una de ellas tienen su propio perfil (colectivos organizados, núcleos universitarios, centros de arte, investigadores individuales) y, en consecuencia, también sus peculiares modos de aproximarse al fenómeno. No hay, pues, un registro único en la metodología que subyace tras el conjunto del archivo.
La mayor parte de los equipos de trabajo están compuestos por investigadores jóvenes. Esta característica es fundamental en el talante del proyecto en tanto que representa una explícita apuesta a favor de la intersección absoluta entre los procesos de formación, de producción y de circulación de ideas.
OCUPACIONES OCASIONALES
El concepto de post-it city fue acuñado por Giovanni La Varra el 2001 para designar "un dispositivo de funcionamiento de la ciudad contemporánea que concierne a las dinámicas de la vida colectiva fuera de los canales convencionales".
La búsqueda de este tipo de ocupaciones ocasionales de la ciudad parte de dos perspectivas: por un lado, las emergencias que se ven obligadas a parasitar el espacio público y, por el otro, las capacidades ciudadanas para optimizar el espacio más allá de sus funciones previstas.
El proyecto de investigación pone el acento en los usos y ocupación temporales del espacio público para actividades comerciales, lúdicas y sexuales de varias ciudades del mundo. Se presentan casos de ciudades tan diferentes como Tel Aviv, Buenos Aires, Hanoi, Santiago de Chile, Bolonia y Barcelona.
Se trata de un proyecto que, en el conjunto de parámetros que pone en juego, conduce a una serie de temas de interés para la cultura contemporánea: la necesidad de crear espacios disponibles, la versatilidad de la idea de reciclaje y la emergencia de nuevas subjetividades, entre otros.
